Append Current Date to Filename in Bash Shell


The following command ziped all files and sub-dirs in CWD into file "ESB_3.0_2013-10-15.zip":

\( zip build/ESB_3.0_\)(date +%Y-%m-%d).zip -r .

Note: the blank after "date" is mandatory.
