Scenario: When checkout codes in Juno SR2 with svn plugin subclipse 1.10.x, it reports "unable to load default svn client", and checkout failed.
Solution: There is a bug in this version. Remove this plugin, and install 1.6.x (I use 1.6.18 at http://subclipse.tigris.org/files/documents/906/49028/site-1.6.18.zip, unzip it into dropins folder of $ECLIPSE_HOME). Restart Eclipse, everything goes fine.
I install a svn repository at 10.0.7.141:/opt/svnRepo.
